What we collect
From the contact form, only what you send: your name, your work email, your company if you give it, the topic you choose and your message.
Reading this site needs no account and sets no cookies. Your choice between Norms and Nerds reading is kept in your own browser's storage and never sent to us.
We do not run analytics on this site.
Why, and on what basis
We use what you send to reply to you and, if you ask for access, to set up your organisation. That is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us. We do not add you to a mailing list or sell or share your details.
Where it is kept
Your message is stored as an enquiry in the staff inbox of an app we run on the zenn.ing platform, hosted on Cloudflare's network. Only our staff can read it, and the person who answers requests receives a copy by email.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in that inbox until we remove them; nothing deletes them automatically. Once we have answered, an enquiry is closed after 30 days, but it is kept. If you want yours removed, ask us through the contact form. The app has no way to delete an enquiry yet, so we handle each request by hand and reply to tell you what we did.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Use the contact form and choose "Something else". If you are unhappy with our answer, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
